Tata Nano now part of Indian road history
The world's cheapest car, the Tata Nano, is now on the road in India.Ratan Tata, the head of Tata Motors, handed over the keys to customs official Ashok Raghunath Vichare at a Tata showroom in the city of Mumbai.
Tata Motors says it has received more than 200,000 orders for what has been billed as the common man’s car. Tata Motors believes the car, which costs US$2,025 will revolutionise travel in India. Some 200,000 people initially placed orders for the Nano, to vie to be the first recipients of the car.
Is Nano a curse or a blessing for the Indian Roads ?????????
